Julia Sako

Julia Sako is a London-based writer, director and actor. On stage she has played Cassandra, Medea, Hedda Gabler and Desdemona; on screen she appeared opposite John Malkovich in Stephen Frears' Mary Reilly.

She read English at UCL, trained at City Lit and Venture House, and since 2016 has run Awakened Stage, her London theatre laboratory.
